AbstractThe instruments of southern Vietnamese ceremonial orchestras (nhac le) used in the performance of Buddhist liturgy fall into two principal groups that perform in alternation:the predominantly percussive instruments, associated with military music (nhac vo),and the melodic,associated with civilian music (nhac van).
