Basically, humanistic Buddhism has become the major thought in modern era, but from the sociological investigation, there are some creative obscurities between Buddhism and social welfare, that is, the concepts of the humanistic Buddhism can't be inducedinto people's daily life. Therefore based on the forward-looking imaginations of humanistic Buddhism, we think the community-based Buddhist services as the mechanism about the transfor mation of humanistic Buddhism. Incidentally, there also are some tasks duringthe process of the community-based Buddhist sevices, for example the environmental redesign of the temple and the professional training of the social welfare workers.Besides the hardware and software tasks, Buddhist groups must have access to dialogue in the open-minded attlitude each other. All in all, there are still some limitations when we try to realize the target of humanistic Buddhism. |
