| Abstract | 唐代是中國最為強盛，文化最為燦爛的時期，不僅對後世中國，而且對周邊國家如朝鮮、日本和東南亞諸國都有著深遠的影響。敦煌第二二０窟正是唐代中國文化的一個縮影。通過對該窟藝術的全面剖析，我們可以對唐代文化有一個較為具體深入的理解，并為探討「唐風」藝術與周邊區域藝術的關係及其美術史意義提供條件。
The T'ang dynasty represented a time when the Chinese empire was at the height of power. It was also a period when culture rose to unprecedented levels and glory. The T'ang dynasty would have a strong impact not only on later generations and dynasties in China, but it was a major influence on the cultures of surrounding states and areas, including Korea, Japan, and southeast Asia. Tunhuang grotto 220 is an ideal example that represents a microcosm of T'ang Chinese culture. A new look at the art in this grotto presents us with a deeper understanding of the numerous facets of T'ang culture. The grotto also offers a point from which to analyze the "T'ang Style," to compare it to that of neighboring areas, and to assess its importance in art history. |
