Abstract | The Buddhist Society is introducing a new course on the Buddha-Dharma's principle tenets in its summer 1998 curriculum. The course has been designed to acquaint Westerners with the essentials, such as the release of the concept of "I" or "mine." Buddhism is becoming increasingly popular,as it offers an alternative to the emptiness left by lost religious and cultural values. |
