Abstract | 本人長期研究佛學,並在大學部與研究所開設相關課程,尤其是天台宗方面。四年前曾擬定進一步詳研天台三大部的計畫。第一期研究《法華玄義》的「妙法蓮華經玄義新解」研究計畫,得貴會(國科會)之贊助支持,已如期於八十四年十月完成。其成果請見所提之成果報告書。
今所提出者,即第二期:《摩訶止觀》的二年研究計畫。預定進行以下十一項之研究工作: 1. 新式標點,分段:使原文更加清楚易讀。 2. 查索出處:查校所引用經論之原文出處,注於引文後,以利學者研究。 3. 總目提要:依據目錄作提要,鉤勒出其簡要意旨。 4. 引言:於重要單元作引言,使讀者先明其梗概。 5. 按語:於較難理解的段落下,作必要之按語,以利解讀。 6. 表解:表解文義,俾有助理解文義之系統關係。 7. 集註:選集各名家之重要注疏。 8. 釋名:根據經典注釋重要詞彙,克服佛典名相之累. 並查引小學 (《爾雅》,《說文解字》等) 以釋中文難字。 9. 釋義:以現代學術思想引申發揮《摩訶止觀》之微言大義,並加強比較研究。 10. 夾注:為使原文更加清楚明白,於正文中加入之補充文字,以[]號括之;簡短之註釋,以 () 號括之。 11. 索引:為讀者查索方便,編輯重要名相中梵,梵中索引。(按:頁碼待出版時方行編定。) 《摩訶止觀》不僅是研究天台思想必讀之書,也是解說佛教止觀修行最稱完善的著作. 本研究計畫若幸獲支持,得以順利完成,不唯將大有助學者之研究,可期其亦將有益於佛教界與社會人心。
I have studied Buddhism for more than twenty years, and taught it especially Tien-tai school in college or graduated school for many years too. I decided to study the founder of Tien-tai school Master Chi-yi's "The Three Great Volumes" four years ago. The first proposal "A new commentary on Lotus Sutra's Shuan-yi" had been completed in October 1995. This is the second one: "A Study on Maha Tsi-kuan". There are eleven works to be done in this study as following: 1. The new mode of punctuation and paragraphing makes the study of the original text easier and clearer. 2. Source: Examine the sources of the quotations from sutras and sastras in the original text. The scholars can study profitably after they have paid attention to the quotations. 3. Summarizing the content: While summarizing the content, bring out its meaning concisely and to the point. 4. Preface: Discuss in the preface of the important sections so that the reader can be first to clear about the outline (of the work). 5. Explanatory: In order to facilitate understanding and study add explanatory under the sections difficult to understand. 6. Table: meaning of the text in the table helps to understand the meaning of the original text. 7. Collection of notes: Collect selected important notes and commentaries. 8. On the basis of important literatures constituting annotations, the difficulties regarding the terms are to be overcome. To explain difficult Chinese characters use philological works such as "Erh-ya", "Shuo-wen" etc. 9. According to modern scientific thoughts expound the lofty meanings of the subtle sayings of "The Lotus Sutra's Shuan-yi". 10. Notes in the brackets: To make the understanding of the original text clear put the supplementary material added to the text proper within square brackets [],but put the brief explanatory notes within parenthesis (). 11. For the convenience of the readers Chinese-Sanskrit and Sanskrit-Chinese indexes have been provided. This study is very useful for scholars who want to study Tien-tai school and those who are interested in meditation. |
