Abstract儒家極重視教育,其教育宗旨則以品學並重,以期能培養出既具崇高品德,又具淵博學識,敦品勵行,學富五車之一代完人. 一部《論語》二十篇中,孔子及其門弟子討論及與此教育宗旨相關涉之嘉言哲語至多,「博學於文」,「行己有恥」二語尤為其中之顯例及代表.

本論文擬就「博學於文」,「行己有恥」二語作較深度之探討. 全文分四部分:
一. 前言
二. 「博學於文」,「行己有恥」之出處及前人之注釋
三. 顧亭林之論「博學於文」,「行己有恥」及其身體力行
四. 結語

全文結處曾作俚句云:
品學兼修,儒教宗旨.
博學於文,行己有恥.

超凡入聖,百世衣被.
吾儕治學,當循斯軌.
