AbstractConfucianism,Buddhism and Taoism constitute the mainstream of Chinese culture. Most educational theories of the Chinese people derive from three mainstream.

As far as traditional Chinese culture is concerned,Chinese educational policy is based on humanities thought, for Chinese culture attaches much importance to the implementation and consummation of perfect life. That is to say,Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism may be called humanities religions in China. In other words, Chinese pays equal attention to the promotion of moral criterion, the fulfilment of life and implementation of daily events. There exists the interdependence of the development of humanities education. In contrast with humanities and non-humanities, rationally, aim and means, we find out the advantages and disadvantages of Chinese humanities education, and then use of them to make further development. We hope to promote humanities education to a better, constructive, positive condition.
