Abstract | 神會是六祖惠能的大弟子之一,對六祖地位的確立和南宗影響的擴大起了重要作用,對禪宗的發展有很大的貢獻,但他並非六祖指定的唯一傳人. 本文主有三大部分:一. 是"幼稚學道". "初見六祖",主講神會十三. 四歲時初次拜見六祖史事. 二. "再到曹溪,未甘滯留",主是講神會由於機緣不契,離開曹溪北上,再次從學於神秀,神秀入寂後始回到曹溪,居留數載,得六祖法要,成得法弟子之一. 但他並未等六祖辭世才離開,而是于景雲元年時 "遍尋名師",故未能得聞六祖晚年對西土傳承的開示. 三. "妄稱七祖,謬言八代",主說神會妄以七祖自居,又編造了西土八代說. 本文的結論是神會既有功勞,又有過失,應當全面看待,不能只看一邊.
Shen Hui was one of Huineng's students, he had great contribution to setting of Huineng's posittion as the Sixth Patriarch of Chan School and enlarging the influence of South Sect,but he wasn't the only successor appointed by Huineng. This article conclude 3main parts:First part say about Shen Hui's first meeting with Hui Neng as a 13 or 14 years old boy. Second part say about he leaved Cao Xi and came back some years later,then leaved again. Third part say about he acclaimed that he was the Seventh Patriarch of Chan School and fabricated a absurd 8 Patriarcies. The conclusion is Shen Hui had contribution to Chan School,especially for South Sect,but he made a lot of mistake too,so we must research him fairly,cannot only see one side. |
