In Janism and Buddhism "Fast to die"is a way of Maksha. It means ending this live and start next new live. Is "fast to die"equal with Suicide? Both of them are full of autonomy in the principle of Bio-ethic. It is beneficence and justice for Indian saint,if they have practiced 12 years and wish giving away thier decayed body. "Fast to die" means self-determination. It is perfect with autonomy, too. But in common opinion may be it is lack of some maleficence or too cruel so what. |
