ZhiYuan was a Buddhist monk outsized mountain faction in TianTai Buddhism and a representive figure to advocate theory of mixing confucianism with Buddhism each other in Song Dynasty. Studying ZhiYuan's Buddhism will help us to understand TianTai Buddhism's religious doctrine, to hold the trend of chinese Buddhism after Song and Yuan Dynasties. |
