Abstract西山大覺寺位於海澱區西北陽臺山山麓，始建於遼鹹雍四年(1068年)，初名“清水院”，後稱“靈泉寺”，明宣德三年(1428年)重修，改為大覺寺。是一座擁有千年歷史的皇家寺院，氣勢宏偉，占地近4萬平方米。 寺院坐西朝東，建築依山勢層疊而上。自西向東由天王殿、大雄寶殿、無量壽殿、大悲殿等四進院落組成，殿宇古樸雄偉，佈局嚴謹、深廣。
