| Abstract | 方立天先生是我國著名的佛學研究專家，在中國佛教思想史、佛教與傳統文化關係諸方面有獨到的研究。現任中國人民大學哲學系教授、宗教研究所所長、博士生導師。在紀念中國佛教二千年之際，我們走訪了方立天先生。他就自己與中國佛學研究的不解之緣及其經驗體會娓娓道來，啟人深思。現全文刊出，以饗讀者。１９３３年３月，我出生於浙江省東部的農村，就是今永康市四路口中村。我的家鄉非常美麗，小小村落的邊上，有一條日夜流淌不息的小溪。童年時，我和夥伴們有時就在這條小溪裏抓魚。
