| Abstract | 龍門石窟西山中段唐字洞的西壁，有盛唐晚期洛都景福寺比丘尼淨命鐫刊的一鋪阿育王造像，這在龍門魏唐造像題材中是僅見的一例。本文作者通過考古調查及文獻尋索，指出龍門石窟這一題材罕見的造像實例與盛唐時代武則天推行的轉輪王政教實踐有著密切的關聯。
The only Asoka image was cut in the west wall of Tangzi 唐字Cave of the Lonmen Grottoes in Luoyang. According to the inscription, we know that the image was carved by Jingming Jingming凈命, a monk from the Jingfu Temple 景福寺 of Luoyang in the High-Tang Dynasty. Based on the archaeological survey and related historical records, this paper integrates appearing of the image in Longmen with Wu Zetian 武則天,the only empress of the Tang Dynasty。 Empress Wu was eulogize as" Sacred Emperor of the Golden Cakra", and had launched a new movement of Buddhist culture in Luoyang,east capital of China in the Tang Dynasty, and even whole counts.Asoka was considered as one of the previous" Sacred king of the Golden Cakra" and was worshiped by Empress Wu and almost Chinese Buddhists.
