Abstract | 佛教徒既堅持普遍的因果律,又認為善惡報應皆是自作業自受報,既同意決定論,又堅持自由意志,兩者對佛教來說都很重要,前者是佛 教的根本教義,而沒有了後者,無法勸人修行為善。那麼,佛教是如何處理兩者之間的矛盾呢?佛教對這個問題的觀點是:自由和被決定並不沖突, 自由更多的只是感覺和選擇的可能性,被決定並不表示意志也是被先在原因決定的。總之,佛教徒屬於溫和決定論者,提倡自由地選擇必然。
Since Buddhist believe in cause and effect,as well as comeuppance,they are determinist.At the same time,they stick to moral law,which is freedom will.Buddhist,as soft-determinist,accept the compatibility of freedom will and determinism through an analytical study of concepts.Freedom is nothing but the immediate conscious of freedom,and freedom is relative to compulsion,but not to determinism.Choosing inevitability freely is the finally answer. |
