| Abstract | 釋贊寧《宋高僧傳》(《宋傳》)是承繼釋慧皎《高僧傳》(《梁傳》)、釋道宣《續高僧傳》(《唐傳》)而作，記載唐初至宋初之間高僧生平事跡的佛教著作。本文研究的范圍主要集中在《宋傳》及相關內容的文獻學研究，由于編撰者、時代背景等不同，所以兼與《梁傳》、《唐傳》相關方面進行比較，試圖總結釋贊寧《宋傳》與前面兩部僧傳的承繼性和創新性，并探討原因所在。這里包括對《宋傳》作者考察、《宋傳》的體例研究等。本文也有按一定標準，作了一些統計，以求對佛教歷史中某些現象做出較為客觀的結論。論文分為緒論、五章正文和三個相關的附錄。 緒論分為四節，第一節論述的是關于本文研究的對象、范圍和意義等，以便對本文的研究范圍有一個大致界定和本文研究的意義所在。第二節是研究歷史和現狀，此節主要是記錄在過去近百年來國內外對贊寧《宋傳》的相關研究情況，并總結了這些研究的貢獻和不足之處以及本論文的出發點。第三節是研究思路。第四節是研究方法。 第一章《宋傳》的作者考察。本章分為五節，第一節生平考論，此文重點考實了贊寧的籍貫、生卒年，以及對贊寧的一生行跡作了簡要概述。第二節論述了贊寧與士大夫的交游，列出了所載交游成員，...

The Shi Zan-ning s the Biographies of Eminent Monks of Song Dynasty inherited the Biographies of Eminent Monks and the Biographies of Eminent Monks of Tang Dynasty, and recorded the stories of the Eminent Monks in the initial stanges fo Tang and Song Dynasty.
