Abstract | The article discusses a research work concerning the "negative side" of Japanese author Daisetsu Teitaro Suzuki's works and its relationship to the World War II era on September 1, 2010. The author presents several topics that will help the readers understand his later attitudes towards war including his early writings, his interest in socialism and his wartime record. He wishes to express his hope that literary critics will consider the points discussed in his article and that of Kemmyo Taira Sato before reaching their conclusions. |
