Abstract | 佛母為諸佛菩薩之母,但這個「母」並不是指人,而是喻指佛菩薩的智慧。因為人世間母親的功德最大,能生兒育女,繁衍後代,所以佛教拿她比喻智慧能生諸佛。如《大品般若經》卷十六載曰:「般若波羅蜜是諸佛母,……何以故,是般若波羅蜜出生諸佛。」可見,佛母像同密修本尊像一樣也是密教思想高度擬人化的藝術形式。佛母的形象多為寂靜形善相,而且都是女性形象。
The inages of Fairy Mother are the artistic forms of high personification of the ideology of Esoteric Sect. Each of them has its special posture and mark showing its own beneficence and wisdom besides common female features. This article gives an introduction to the characteristics of the dresses and fingerprints of the images of Fairy Mother as well as their religious implied meaning. |
