| Abstract | 本文簡要地介紹了英國人巴慎思其人以及他盜取敦煌文物的始末經過,并為他1935年所拍攝的敦煌壁畫照片資料編輯了目錄。通過與伯希和及奧登堡等不同時期所拍敦煌石窟照片的比對,發現巴慎思這批照片的歷史與考古方面的價值。
This article first gives a brief introduction to the British explorer and photographer Desmond Parsons as well as his treasure-stealing activities at the Mogao Grottoes,and then catalogues the photos of Dunhuang murals he took in 1935.Based on official documents of the Republic of China,Parsons’ illegal behavior at Dunhuang put him behind bars.A comparison of Parsons’ photos with those taken at different times by Paul Pelliot and Oldenburg reveals the historical and archaeological value of Parsons’ photos. |
