Abstract | 麥積山石窟第5窟正壁右龕上部所繪一鋪西方凈土變,包括凈土變及下方供養人兩個部分。凈土變畫面以主尊為中心左右對稱分布,寶池與寶地大面積繪出,樓閣與虛空等要素具備,為比較完整的西方凈土變。寶池和延伸至寶地上的水渠同處一個畫面是其獨到之處。凈土變下方繪女供養人,左右相對而列。供養人三人一組,為主從形式。女主人衣著交領開敞,大袖;發髻上攏,頂平。本文具體考察凈土變中的紋樣、建筑等細節,結合供養人的服飾特征,基本判斷其繪制年代在隋代。
The illustration of the Pure Land of the West above the right niche in the front wall in cave 5 at the Maijishan Grottoes consists of two parts: pictures of the pure land above and illustrations of donor figures below.The picture has a symmetrical composition focusing on the central Buddha.The treasure pond and treasure land are drawn in large scale,providing enough space for other motifs such as a tower,empty sky and so on.This illustration is considered to be a complete version of the illustration of the Pure Land.The treasure pond and the creek which extends from the pond to the treasure land are drawn in one scene,making this depiction quite unique.The female donor figures are arranged in two opposite groups,each group consisting of three people: a mistress and two servants.The mistresses wear flat-topped chignons and cross-collared robes with loose sleeves.By analyzing details of the Pure Land like illustrative patterns and architecture,and by examining the costumes of the donor figures,this paper comes to the conclusion that the illustration of the Pure Land in the West was painted primarily during the Sui dynasty. |
