| Abstract | 2012年3月19日，中國社會科學院考古研究所與河北省文物研究所在北京舉行發布會，公布其在鄴城遺址發現佛造像埋葬坑，並出土佛像文物2895件（塊），數量創新中國成立以來佛像考古之最。
而這處佛造像埋葬坑所在的鄴城遺址，曾是曹魏、後趙、冉魏、前燕、東魏、北齊六朝都城，並且目前距前不久備受國人關注的曹操墓——安陽西高穴大墓僅十多公里，這就更為本次出土的佛教造像，蒙上了一層神秘的面紗。
