| Abstract | 泰國，全稱泰王國（Kingdom of Thailand），位於中南半島中部。其領土東北接老撾，東南接柬埔寨，西北接緬甸，南邊接馬來西亞。泰國佛教可以追溯到公元前3世紀，那時已經有上座部佛教傳入該地區。在隨後的1600多年裡，大乘佛教、小乘佛教先後傳人。直至公元13世紀，在泰國第一個獨立的素可泰（Sukhothai）王朝建立以後，舉國逐漸歸依南傳上座部佛教，一直延續至今。 |
