Abstract | 自東晉至南朝,觀音信仰已普及民間,名稱由光世音轉變為觀世音,劉宋元嘉二年銘文石刻畫像正值過渡期,其內容所示,南朝佛教不僅具有貴族佛教的性格,而且已存在於極為平民化的信仰基礎之上。
Belief in Guanyin(觀音)had been popular among from Eastern Jin dynasty to Southern Dynasties. The name of Guangshiyin(光世音)had been substituted by Guanshiyin(觀世音). It was in the 2nd year of Yuanjia region, Liu-Song dynasty that the stone relief with inscriptions was in the transition. The stone relief with inscriptions revealed that Buddhism of Southern Dynasties not only imbued with an aristocratic Buddhist character, but also was built on the basis of the popular belief. |
