Abstract本文通過圖像分類和經典辨析 ,對莫高窟北朝窟中 8對婆藪仙和鹿頭梵志形象所依據的經典和它們的作用提出了自己的看法 ,并認為不能把它們作為斷定窟內主尊為釋迦佛的依據

This article studies the basis of orientation in Buddhist Sūtra , of their function to be made in appearance of 8 pair of the images of Vasistha and Mrgasirsa in the temple caves of Northern Dynasties of Mogao Grottoes by the way of classified the pictures in art catalogue and distinguish them according to textual analyze. The purpose of the study is to find out the textual foundation for appearance of those two images, finally to offering my opinion on the function and position of the appearance of the pair of images in temple caves. From my opinion the pair of images of Vasistha and Mrgasirsa could not stand for the criterion to judgment the main image of a cave which is appeared in the form of painted clay sculpture is Sakyamuni Buddha.
