Abstract | 大足寶頂山石窟是宋代開鑿唯一的大型石窟。其中密教道場造像,可把漢傳密教史延續近400年。寶頂山石窟造像融匯南北方藝術、跨登宋代石窟藝術的高峰,也是我國佛教藝術中國化、世俗化、生活化的典范,具有藝術與自然環境的融合、科學與藝術的交融之美。
The Mount Baoding Grottoes 寶頂山石窟 in Dazu County 大足縣, Chongqing, are only large group of the Buddhist caves, which had been cut in the Song Dynasty. Its Tantrist sculptures prolong the history of the Chinese Tantrism about 400 years. The carved sculptures from Mount Baoding Grotto have fused the artistic style both Northern and Southern China. It is the most perfect grotto art dated to the Song Dynasty, and serves as a model of Buddhist cave art with Chinese characteristic. |
