Abstract Since 1977 , numeral stone inscriptions were collected from the Houshan Mountain ,Longmen,Luoyang.Among them.two merit special attention,one is"An Sitai BuildingStone Inscription with a Chinese Buddhist sutra",which can be dated in the 3th year of theChang’an era of the Tang Dynasty(703),another stone inscription with Chinese Version ofthe Usnisa-Vijaya-(namaka)dharani which was carved in the 6th year of the Dazhong era ofthe Tang Dynasty(852).Comparing with Dunhuang manuscrit S.4505,conclusion can bereached that S.4505 cited from the sutra carved by An Sitai in 703.This paper also dealswith the important value to the historical study of ancient Luoyang
