| Abstract | 七帝寺為定州著名寺院,它與皇室、高官富紳有著千絲萬縷的聯系。《重修七帝寺碑記》不僅反映了這一歷史史實,同時也為研究寺院僧俗組織結構提供了例證。北魏至隋的定州,胡漢并居,信仰雜糅。作為粟特商人的何永康,出資贖寺,成為俗寺主,透露出宗教信仰的復雜性。
The Temple of Five Emperors was a famous temple in Dingzhou which had an intimate relationship with the imperial household, powerful of?cials and wealthy gentry. Chongxiu Qidi-Si Bei Ji (Stele Commemorating the Reconstruction of the Temple of Five Emperors) not only re?ects the historical events of its time, but also provides valuable evidence for studying the temple’s clerical and lay structural organisation. In this period in Dingzhou, foreigners from Central Asia and Han Chinese lived together and there were mixed religious beliefs. The leading temple donor was a Sogdian merchant called He Yongkang and became the director of the temple’s lay following, revealing the complexity of religious beliefs at that time. |
