| Abstract | 一九四二年ごろから中国の学者たちが、つぎつぎに敦煌石窟調査をおこなったが、中日戦争がおわり、一九五〇年中国人民解放軍が敦煌を解放してからは敦煌芸術研究所が改組されて、一九五一年敦煌文物研究所が設立された。従来はペリオ探険隊の発表した敦煌石窟の図版やその石窟編号が標準であったのに対し、新調査と新研究とはまったく基本的な土台をつくりつつある。これらの業績を紹介するために、本文を草した次第である
Chinese scholars not infrequently visited and investigated the Touenhouang Cave-Temples since around 1942 even during the latest war. Now the war was over and, after the new government took over the site in 1950, Touen-houang Institute of Arts (敦煌藝術研究所) was reformd into Touen-houang Institute of Arts and Crafts (敦煌文物研究所) in 1951. Up to the present, the figures and the numbering published by Mission Pelliot, in Les Grottes de Touen-houang (6 Tomes, Paris, 1920-24), have been the foundation for various studies of this site. However, recent researches are newly building a very significant foundation for future studies. This article intends to introduce these quite recent achievements in China. |
