| Abstract | 吐峪溝石窟第44窟正壁南側起第二幅壁畫內容,一般認為是"婆羅門婦欲害姑緣"。文章通過文圖對讀,認定此幅壁畫應為"兔王本生",出自三國吳支謙譯《菩薩本緣經》卷下《兔品第六》。
The second wall painting on the south side of the front wall in cave 44 at theToyok Grottoes is generally considered to be "Brahman’s wife murdering her mother-in-law." By comparing the texts and images, this paper attempts to identify this painting as depicting King Rabbit jataka, as recorded in the Original Causality Sutra of Bodhisattva translated by Zhi Qian in the Wu Kingdom of the Three Kingdoms Period, which comes from Chapter Six on King Rabbit Jataka. |
