Abstract念佛是佛教中非常重要的宗教實踐,無論是個人修持、早晚課的課誦、法會儀軌,皆有其特殊的意義與功能。本論文將從佛教經論與相關文獻著手,深入瞭解念佛在文獻上的記載與論述,探討念佛的形式與功能,再經由實際的田野調查記錄臺灣的念佛音聲,探討念佛音聲在早晚課、懺法儀式與淨土佛事等儀軌中的運用。目前隨著整個時代的轉變,念佛曲調已朝向多樣性與通俗性之發展,如此之趨勢是否與原有的儀式精神相衝突,以及念佛音聲在佛教中涵攝之意涵,以及反應如何不同的宗教主張與弘法事業的態度及其對社會文化所產生之影響,希望藉由本論文的探討能提供另一種不同的思考面向。

The Buddhist rendition plays a very important role in the religious practice. It has both great significance and efficiency for the morning assignments, the evening assignments, religious ceremonies and even the personal practice. According to the points of Buddhist citations as well as the sayings of the masters of the earlier associated references, there is an exploration of the evolution and the effect of the rendition from an academic point of view. The fieldwork records the tones of the Buddhist rendition in Taiwan. It discusses that the rendition usage in the morning assignments,the evening assignments, confessions and funeral rites not only for the personal practice but also for the public chant.
For the time being society is changing, the tones of Buddhist rendition express in various ways. Therefore, the popularity of the tones of rendition is increasing over recent years. Whether this trend is being reversed against the traditional spirit or not? The tones of rendition aim to reflect the views of the different religious and the attitude of establishing Buddhist teaching. It is a highly influential figure in social culture. That's the reason why this treatise suggests to do some different thinking hereby.
