Abstract | The article focuses on "Great Compassion Repentance" which is the most commonly performed liturgies in Chinese Mahayana Buddhism. It states that the Repentance concentrates on Guan Yin (Guanshiyin), the Bodhisattva of Great Compassion. It also mentions that the the liturgy also integrates teachings from the doctrines of the permeation of noumenon and phenomena. |
