A lot of Indian tales, included in Buddhist Scriptures, come into China along with the Chinese translation of these Scriptures and become the basis of Chinese folk tales.Kangqu tribe is the ethnic group who believed in Buddhism earliest in Kazak grasslands.Ancient Kangqu cultivated monks had worked on the translation of Buddhist Scriptures, which makes many tales originated from Indian Buddhist Scriptures pass on from one generation to another in modern Kazak oral literature and still be discerned today.Kazak folk tales are full of outstanding imaginations, deep wisdoms and fantastic conceptions that are developed by Chinese and Indian folk narrative arts. |
