| Abstract | 東都洛陽的佛教內道場隋煬帝楊廣當晉王時，曾以揚州總管的職務駐守揚州。楊廣多次致函．奉天台宗創始人智額為師．請他來揚州為自己授菩薩戒。開皇十一年（591）十一月二十三日．智顫在揚州總管寺城設千僧會．隨即在楊廣府邸“躬傳戒香，授律儀法”，為楊廣起法名為“總持”．楊廣尊稱他為“智者”。（《續高僧傳·智頻傳》）開皇十九年．楊廣在揚州設立慧日、法雲兩個佛教道場。邀請學問僧、律僧在其中研究、弘揚佛教。 |
