| Abstract | 星雲大師一九五三年於宜蘭正式弘法開始，即矢志以文化弘揚「人間佛教」，歷經七十年的推行，星雲模式的人間佛教從臺灣出發，弘化全球，以文字般若實踐「人間佛教」，將不合時宜的傳統山林佛教成功轉化，脫胎換骨成符合潮流的現代化佛教，備受肯定。
本文以《星雲大師全集》為文本，依星雲大師弘法的進程，分別列出各時期的重要著作；繼之探討其文學敘事與當代文化的交融，以及人間佛教的現代經典文學，以探究所呈現的文字般若。
研究過程中，首先依年代時序，概述星雲大師於各弘法時期主要創作的淵源、內容。其次論述從個人日常修持和針對社會議題與大時代佛教歷史的代表性著作中，探討其文學敘事的獨特風格。最後從星雲大師闡釋宗教義理的代表性經典文學作品，窺見「文學裡的人間佛教」。
Venerable Master Hsing Yun decided promoting “Humanistic Buddhism” with culture at the very beginning when he had formally promoted dharma in Yilan in 1953. Starting from Taiwan through 70-year implementation with text Prajna, the Hsing Yun’s mode of Humanistic Buddhism has been promoted worldwide and well known as successful transformation of Chinese Buddhism from traditional to modern.
The study was based on “Complete Works of Venerable Master Hsing Yun” investigating how the text Prajna emerged in Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s major works of different periods of time through a fusion of literary narrative and contemporary culture.
The research process was started with the brief introduction of Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s major works of different periods of time, followed by analyzing his unique style of literary narrative and interpretation of Buddhist scriptures. Finally the “Humanistic Buddhism in literature” was manifested. |
