This thesis deals with the relationship between Gui yi jun Regime and the Liao Dynasty and Ganzhou vighur Kingdom in mutual contact or fight reflected in the Dunhuang manuscripts and orthodox history books.A profound analysis of the interdependence between the three regimes is chronologically discussed. It not only reflects the changes in the relationship between central dynasties and borderland nation during the period from the Tang Dynasty to the Song Dynasty, but also presents a view of the situation of conterbalancing in the course of development of all kinds of nations at that time.
