Abstract | 佛陀證道初轉法輪度化五比丘,在鹿野苑三轉四諦法輪,佛法開始傳播於世間。而後透過佛弟子的輾轉傳授,師師相承,從印度到中國,形成了漢傳佛教獨特的講經方式。 傳統講經方式大都由主講法師就著一經一論,或消文、或解義,重視的是「聞」「思」的過程,因為缺乏「實修」的訓練,因此學習過程難以達到「解行並重」的修道要求。 佛法修學不離「聞、思、修」的次第,如何在講解經典的過程中最大程度的涵蓋這三者,佛教弘誓學院舉辦的系列《阿含經》研習營就是一種嘗試。說它是新模式,不如說是回歸佛陀說法的善巧,因為在《阿含經》中無論是佛陀教授弟子,還是佛弟子之間的互論法義,都不離這樣的次第。 《阿含經》研習營的主講者──昭慧法師,如何詮釋《阿含經》?正因為視佛法為生命之學,是法師研讀、傳授《阿含經》的根本動力,其縱貫、辨析法義的深刻見地遠非我等後學可以窺究一二,更遑論置評。故以上的歸納僅為筆者個人受學其中的點滴心得,以此法喜就教於諸位先進、同道。
After having attained supreme enlightenment, the Buddha rotated his first Dharma Wheels to preach for the Five Ascetics. At the Deer Park in Sarnath, after he delivered his first teaching—the Four Noble Truths, the Buddhist Dharma, having been passed down orally by his brilliant disciples and connected by successive teachers, has run propagated since then from India to China, which has already formed a unique way of preaching Dharma in the Chinese Buddhism district. As for the traditional Dharma-preaching ways, preachers used to explain or interpret every word or line, putting the equal emphasis on the process of “hearing” and “contemplating”. However, lack of the disciplines of “real practice” makes it quite hard to attain the purpose of “the emphasis laid both in the explanation and practice” during learning. Buddhism-practicing process will never exist or succeed without the learning orders of “hearing, contemplating, and cultivating”, which were involved to the greatest extent in the “Āgama-sūtras Workshop” held by the Buddhist Hongshi College. It is more like the Buddha’s ingeniousness when preaching than absolutely a new teaching method. Whether Buddha’s preaching to his disciples or mutual discussions about the Dharma among them, the orders have never ever been disobeyed. How did the leader lecturer, Master Chao-hwei, in this workshop interpret “Āgama-sūtras”? Looking upon Buddha Dharma as a philosophy of life, on which Master Chao-hwei has been based, is the fundamental power for her to study and preach “Āgama-sūtras”. Her deep insight and the ability to preach the Buddhist sutra is second to none, with whom I will never keep up for my whole life, not to mention putting any criticism on her study. The above is the writer’s knowledge gained from this workshop. Filled with the Dharma blissfulness from this workshop, I sincerely hope to obtain some constructive comments from any of you, who have been engaging in the same pursuit of massive knowledge from learning Buddhist Dharma as me. |
