Abstract 人們在論述竺道生的佛學思想時,多數關注他的般若性空論、涅槃觀、佛性論、"闡提成佛"、"頓悟成佛"、"法身無色"和"佛無凈土"等理論,至於他的"理"思想的"心性"與"本體"意指及其意義,卻疏於分析和論證。在晉宋以前的中國思想史上,"心性論"和"本體論"兩種學術觀點一直處於相對獨立的狀態,二者並沒有緊密連接在一起,更不用說相融一貫。當竺道生的"理"思想出現後,打破了這種局面。本文通過對竺道生的"理"思想考析得知,道生的"理"思想實際上在"心性"與"本體"之間扮演了橋梁的角色。
