Abstract 從兩個研究平臺的交錯,我們漸漸地形成如下研究方法。第一,橫向研究:敦煌與榆林窟普賢變比較,比如象牙數的變化、普賢形象的變化坐姿的變化、大象位置的變化等。第二,縱向研究:敦煌西夏壁畫中的"普賢變"與唐代"普賢變"的區別,在構圖框架、顏色,比如乘象普賢的出現與法華信仰的關系、《法華經》的翻譯和乘象普賢的出現的時間差。第三,縱橫向研究:敦煌壁畫《法華經》與《華嚴經》普賢變比較,一個是區域性的普賢變比較,一個是不同經變普賢形象的比較。佛教藝術經變在敦煌壁畫中的展現,可以為縱橫向視野的文化轉場研究提供生動的資料。我們關注的研究論題框架是:文本與藝術是如何轉場的?藝術的特點與文本的特點是什麼?時間上和內容上的相異性如何?
