Abstract本文闡明普賢菩薩的行法主要分為三個系統天台宗系統、《華嚴經》系統、唐密系統,並由此普賢菩薩行法來闡釋夏荊山畫作之中的普賢菩薩的圖像以及其意義。天台宗系統將普賢菩薩當作是懺悔法門的法主,《妙法蓮華經》開示悟入法華三昧,但是眾生罪重無法領略,故在最後一品為《普賢菩薩勸發品》與《佛說觀普賢菩薩行法經》,勸發修持讀誦法華經,闡釋懺悔法門而得到普賢菩薩乘六牙白象而現前加持。華嚴四祖澄觀對於普賢菩薩行法的詮釋。澄觀著有〈三聖圓融觀門〉一文,在三聖圓融觀門的觀點之中,二聖法門略為三對。一以能信所信相對。謂普賢表所信之法界。二以解行相對。普賢表所起萬行。三以理智相對。普賢表所證法界,即出纏如來藏。不空三藏譯《佛說一切諸如來心光明加持普賢菩薩延命金剛最勝陀羅尼經》闡釋了普賢菩薩的延命身體健康的修持法,《普賢菩薩行願讚》以三密相應來闡釋普賢菩薩十大行願對於漢傳佛教的普賢菩薩行法及其造像具有相當影響。在此一背景之中,本文整理闡釋夏荊山畫作之中的普賢菩薩的圖像並闡發其意義。
