| Abstract | Usually, the 21st century is said to be the century of culture. But the real is not to be. Only key word is the civilization, culture is our hope. Because culture is on the foundation of the morals and ethics. The civilization without the morals is destroying all creatures. Human-beings had believed to the difference of metaphysics between all animals and man, and excluded animals from the consideration of ethics. Reason, language, and the implement usage and so on are believed the original boundary of man.
But, It is expounded that these originalities are only the beliefs but not trues. Only human-being is not used the language, and the implement. Human -beings is not the lord of all creation any more. Human-being is one of animal called Homo-sapiens which is consisted of an ecosystem. The violence which human-being commits on nature indiscriminately is not to justify and neglect any more.
Modern ethics insist that the center of universal is not man but nature, the best supreme is not the human species but life itself, and all living beings except mankind is not ought to exclude a community of ethics. We should not admit indifference, unconcern with animal sufferings as well as the defiant attitude toward nature, merciless conquest, and reckless exploitation
But these opinions are found in the Buddhist sutra and Buddhist precepts too. |
