Abstract西方關于人類認知基本類型的確認,一如笛卡爾在《探求真理的指導原則》中將其約化至最小分類為直觀與演繹兩種,若從東方佛教邏輯亦即量論因明來看,即是現量與比量。雖然演繹或比量在人類認知進程中發揮著無與倫比的巨大作用,但其內在構造所關的諸多問題,絕非自身所能解決,必回溯到其來源亦即作為直觀的現量,若從深層學理向度而言,即是要從"量論哲學""因明哲學"的層面才能真正勘透演繹或比量的內在本質,由是才能真正弄清其地位與價值。從比量的詞源入手,細密探討其與現量的內在關聯,并對陳那、法稱相關原典做進一步梳理,可以真正揭示比量本非為量,但又可以認定其為量的深層學理之所在。
