AbstractToday's online-based learning is a must where the era of information technology is growing rapidly. The current pandemic period also demands various adjustments in various activities including face-to-face learning in class which cannot be done for the sake of the spread of the covid-19 virus. SMPS Buddhis Bodhicitta Medan has conducted learning through e-leaning, but found some indications of its effectiveness in the low motivation of students to learn, such as turning off videos, being late for room meetings, not paying attention when the teacher explains. This is what makes researchers want to know how much influence this e-learning-based learning has on students' learning motivation at SMPS Buddhis Bodhicitta Medan. The research method used is quantitative research with an ex post facto approach that wants to test a hypothesis but does not provide certain treatment. The study was conducted on a population of 45 students. Data was taken using a questionnaire via google form which was distributed to the target population. Data analysis used a simple linear regression test that focused on testing 1 independent variable on 1 dependent variable. The results of the study found that the effect of e-learning-based learning had a positive and significant effect on students' learning motivation. This is indicated by the t arithmetic value of 2.788 > 2.016, the regression coefficient (b) of 0.470 and the significance value (p) of 0.008 (p < 0.05). The effective contribution of E-learning Classifier based on e-learning to students' learning motivation at Buddha Bodhicitta Junior High School Medan is 15.3% which is indicated by the value of R2 = 0.153 which states that there are 84.7% of other factors that influence student learning motivation such as factors physical, psychological factors. , time, place, and social factors such as teachers, friends, and others.

Pembelajaran berbasis online saat ini merupakan sebuah keharusan dimana era teknologi informasi berkembang secara cepat. Masa pandemi seperti saat ini juga menuntut berbagai penyesuaian dalam berbagai aktifitas termasuk pembelajaran kelas tatap muka langsung yang tidak dapat dilakukan demi penyebaran virus covid-19. SMPS Buddhis Bodhicitta Medan telah melangsungkan pembelajaran melalui e-leaning, namun ditemukan beberapa indikasi tentang efektifitas pengaruhnya terhadap motivasi belajar siswa yang rendah seperti mematikan video, terlambat masuk roommeeting, kurang memperhatikan saat guru menjelaskan. Hal inilah yang membuat peneliti inging mengetahu sebarapa besar pengaruhnya pembelajaran berbasis e-learning ini terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SMPS Buddhis Bodhicitta Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan ex post factoyang ingin menguji suatu hipotesis tetapi tidak memberikan perlakuan-perlakuan tertentu. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap populasi sebanyak 45 siswa. Data diambil menggunakan angket melalui google formyang disebar kepada populasi sasaran. Analisis Data menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana yang fokus pada menguji 1 variabel independen terhadap 1 variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis e-learning positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Hal tersebut dapat ditunjukan dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 2,788 > 2,016, koefisien regresi (b) sebesar 0,470 dan nilai signifikansi (p) sebesar 0,008 (p < 0,05).
