AbstractThis study aim to design, create dan develop education module of Mahayana’s worship ritual and funeral blended learning based to facilitate distance learning, thus to test product atttractiveness and effectiveness, because there’re Buddhists, who still believe and mixed myths, traditions and beliefs of hereditary rituals, lack of understanding of Mahayana’s teachings and always in frightness and worriness. Implementation of this study use qualitative method for the module by using Lee and Owens model to develop the module in 5 steps, which are analyze, design, development, implementation and evaluation, thusquantitative method by using open and closed questionnaire in pre-test, post-test and respondent opinion of the module, also interview and documentation to complete the collecting data processwhich is called as mixed methods. Study proceeds of 25-60 years old Buddhists who are healthy by physically and mentally shown that there’s alteration understanding of Mahayana’s worship ritual and funeral based onpre-test mean score which are 54 and 56, post-test mean score which are 89 and 92, also 64% respondent feel pleased and doesn’t encounter difficulty of education module of Mahayana’s worship ritual and funeral with blended learning usage.

Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang, membuat dan mengembangkan modul pendidikan upacara puja bakti umum dan kematian tradisi Mahayana menggunakan pendekatan blended learninguntuk mempermudah pengajaran jarak jauh, serta menguji kemenarikan, kemudahan penggunaan dan efektivitas produk, karena masih banyak umat Buddha,yang masih mempercayai dan mencampuradukkan mitos, tradisi dan kepercayaan turun temurun dalam ritual keagamaan, kurangnya pemahaman terhadap agama Buddha Mahayana, serta senantiasa diliputi oleh ketakutan dan kecemasan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif terhadap modul dengan menggunakan model Lee dan Owens yang dilaksanakan melalui tahap dan metode kuantitatif terhadap pengujian modulmelalui angket terbuka dan tertutup dalam pre-test, post-testdan sikap peserta, serta wawancara dan dokumentasi untuk melengkapi proses pengumpulan data, yakni metode penelitian campuran(mix methods).Hasil penelitian terhadap umat Buddha, termasuk pandita upacarika dengan rentang usia 25-60 tahun yang sehat secara fisik dan mental menyatakan bahwa telah terjadi perubahan pemahaman mengenai upacara puja bakti umum dan kematian tradisi Mahayana berdasarkan hasil pre-test yang menunjukkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 54 dan 56 setelah proses pembelajaran, post-test dengan nilai rata-rata89 dan 92, serta sikap peserta yang senang sebesar 64% dan menyatakan tidak mengalami kesulitan sebesar 40% untuk memahami modul pendidikan upacara puja bakti dan kematian tradisi Mahayana berbasis blended learning.
