Abstract | The current study was conducted at Dharmakirti Temple in Palembang from August to September 2012. The research variables included Interpersonal Communication (X1), Emotional Intelligence (X2), and Performance (Y). This study aimed to determine the effect of interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence on the performance of Dharmakirti Temple administrators in Palembang. The data was collected using questionnaire while data analysis was carried out by descriptive and inferential methods (correlation and regression). The hypothesis testing was performed using t-test for partial correlation and F test for multiple correlation. The significance level was 95% (α = 0.05). The data processing was done using SPSS 17 for windows. The results of data analysis obtained a regression coefficient for the interpersonal communication variable (X1) of 0.069 with a significant level of = 0.05. The regression coefficient for the emotional intelligence variable (X2) was 0.514 with a significant level of = 0.05. In addition, the constant value was 31.448 so that the multiple regression equation of this study was Y = 31.448 + 0.069X1 + 0.514X2. Based on the results of the study, the correlation (R) between Interpersonal Communication (X1) and Emotional Intelligence (X2) on Management Performance (Y) simultaneously was 0.666: 40.9%. The correlation coefficient of Interpersonal Communication variable (X1) on Management Performance (Y) was 0.521: 25%. The correlation coefficient (R) of the effect of Emotional Intelligence (X2) on Management Performance (Y) was 0.660: 41.8%.
Penelitian dilakukan di Vihara Dharmakirti di Kota Palembang, dilaksanaan pada bulan Agustus sampai dengan September 2012. Variabel penelitain: Komunikasi Interpersonal (X1), Kecerdasan Emosional (X2) dan Kinerja Pengurus (Y). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja pengurus Vihara Dharmakirti di Kota Palembang. Tehnik pengumpulan data kuesioner, data analisis dengan metode deskripsi dan inferensial (korelasi dan regresi). Uji hipotesis uji t untuk korelasi parsial dan uji F untuk korelasi berganda. Tingkat signifikansi 95% (α = 0.05). media pengolahan data dengan program SPSS 17 for windows. Hasil analisis data diperoleh koefisien regresi untuk variabel komunikasi interpersonal (X1) sebesar 0.069 dengan tingkat signifikan α = 0.05. Koefisien regresi untuk variabel kecerdasan emosional (X2) sebesar 0.514 dengan tingkat signifikan α = 0.05. Sedangkan nilai konstanta sebesar 31.448, sehingga persamaan regresi berganda penelitian ini adalah: Ý = 31.448 + 0.069X1 + 0.514X2. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh korelasi (R) hubungan antara Komunikasi Interpersonal (X1) Dan Kecerdasan Emosional (X2) secara bersama-sama terhadap Kinerja Pengurus (Y) adalah 0.666: 40.9%. Koefisien korelasi variabel Komunikasi Interpersonal (X1) terhadap Kinerja Pengurus (Y) sebesar 0.521: 25%. Koefisien korelasi (R) pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional (X2) terhadap Kinerja Pengurus (Y) adalah 0.660: 41.8%. |
