AbstractThe Da Bei Zhou Mantra is one of the most popular mantras among Buddhists especially the Mahayana sect who always recite this mantra at Ce It and Cap Go. This is done by the Mahayana Buddhists especially with the aim of obtaining blessing, health and always getting protection from the gods, in order to avoid danger. The practice of reciting the mantra "Maha Karuna Darani" can be done by making a fixed schedule and must be practiced consistently. It has become a common sight that there are practitioners who set a daily schedule to recite 3x, 7x, 21x, 49x and even 108x to recite the mantra of Maha Karuna Darani / Ta Pei Cou. If he cannot do it fully on that day, then he must cultivate it again the next day. It aims to practice perseverance and strengthen confidence and determination in each of us. In the Da Bei Zhou Mantra also explained some of the Great Pledges of the Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, one of which is that they will not realize Buddhahood before all beings in samsara cross to the opposite shore and be happy. The power of the Mantra is not visible, but if it is believed sincerely, the mantra will provide extraordinary power and cannot be reached with the human mind and mind. The power of the spell can prevent various disasters and disasters, as well as illness and suffering, can also change bad luck into good in accordance with the path of truth.

Mantra Da Bei Zhou merupakan salah satu mantra yang populer di kalangan Buddhis, khususnya sekte Mahayana yang selalu melafalkan mantra ini pada saat Ce It dan Cap Go. Hal ini dilakukan oleh umat Buddha Mahayana dengan tujuan memperoleh keberkahan, kesehatan serta selalu mendapat perlindungan dari para dewa, agar terhindar dari mara bahaya. Praktik melafal mantra Maha Karuna Darani dapat dilakukan dengan membuat jadwal tetap dan harus dipraktikkan secara konsisten. Sudah menjadi pemandangan umum bahwa ada praktisi yang menetapkan jadwal sehari melafal sebanyak 3, 7, 21, 49, bahkan 108 kali melafal kembali mantra Maha Karuna Darani/Ta Pei Cou. Jika seseorang tidak dapat melakukannya secara penuh pada hari tersebut, maka harus memupuknya kembali pada hari berikutnya. Hal ini bertujuan melatih ketekunan dan mengokohkan keyakinan serta tekad dalam diri masingmasing. Di dalam mantra Da Bei Zhou juga dijelaskan beberapa Ikrar Agung Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, salah satunya tidak akan merealisasikan ke-Buddha-an sebelum semua makhluk di samsara menyeberang ke pantai seberang dan bahagia. Kekuatan mantra memang tidak tampak, namun jika diyakini dengan tulus maka akan memberikan kekuatan luar biasa dan tidak dapat dijangkau dengan akal dan pikiran manusia. Kekuatan mantra dapat menghindarkan berbagai bencana dan malapetaka, juga penyakit dan derita, dapat pula mengubah nasib yang buruk menjadi baik sesuai dengan jalan kebenaran.
