AbstractThe study is related to the implementation of management in meditation training at Siddharta Monastery Tangerang. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of management on meditation practice in the monastery. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The informant in this research is Dayakasabhha Siddharta Tangerang. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observations, and documentation, with instruments in the form of observation guidelines and interview guidelines. Data analysis techniques using Model Miles and Huberman consisting of four stages: data collection, data reduction display data, and verification. The results of the study in related to self-management process, namely: at the planning stage of meditation, need strong ‘will’ and understand the meaning of consciousness in theory, establishing Buddha as an object. The meaning of meditation practice, for example: as a form of awareness training, as a form of training towards Nibbana. Practician who practice meditation has benefits on the observation object. Its meaning gets meaning in awareness, observation, feeling, and seeing the emerging phenomenon is constantly observed and realized with mature.The form of consciousness training is manifested in the form of an observing exercise every second per second, bloating and deflating the breath in the nose with the aim of realizing consciousness and being easily focused on the objectives. The individual mental qualities at the important Siddharta monastery that emerged from the practice of healthy meditation: peace or tranquility (Pali: samatha) that established, unified and unified, (conditioned phenomena based on five groups), obstacles encountered.
