Cittaviprayuktās is an important concept in the northern Abhidharma teaching, which has been studied a lot in academic circles. Based on it, this paper discusses the concept, characteristics and types of cittaviprayuktās and the theoretical consequences of sarvāstivāda's creation. This paper focuses on two aspects: (1) different Buddhist sects' views on this concept and their theoretical conflicts. (2) conflict points of different views and their causes. On the basis of answering the foregoing two questions, this paper holds that: based on the basic theory of Buddhism, in order to clearly explain the life phenomenon of the five aggregates, we may propose the concept of cittaviprayuktās, but they don't belong to the five aggregates, and they are conceptional existence. |
