| Abstract | Pada Sekolah Minggu Buddha khususnya di Vihara Buddha Avalokitesvara terdapatbeberapasiswa yang kurang disiplin, kurang sopan dalam mengikuti pembelajaran dan kurang berbakti kepada orang tua seperti sering melanggar perintahorang tua, tidak menghormati orangtua, tidak patuh kepada orangtua, sikap yang kurang baik kepada orangtua, kurang menghargai orangtua, sering mengabaikan nasehat orangtua. Kenyataan ini merupakan dampak dari anak yang tidak mengikutiajaran Buddha dengan baik sehingga anak kurang berbhakti kepada orangtua. Poin pentingpenelitian ini yaitu untuk melihat efektifnyaSekolah Minggu Buddha terhadap bhakti anak kepada orangtua di Vihara Buddha Avalokitesvara Medan. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan penelitian Field Research. Subjek penelitian adalahSekolah Minggu Buddha di vihara Buddha Avalokitesvara Medanyang terdiri dari 58 siswa. Objekyang digunakan adalah angket dengan skala likert. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil percobaandan regresi linier sederhana diperoleh jumlahhitung 7,277 dengan taraf signifikasi 0,000. Hal ini dapat diperkirakanbahwa terhitung tabel (7,277>1,684) atau sig< 0,05 (0,000 0,05), maka Ha diterima Ho ditolak. Dibandingkannilai R square pada pengujianini adalah 57,6 yang menunjukanbahwa Sekolah Minggu Buddha efektif terhadap bhakti anak kepada orangtua sebesar 57,6%.
At the Buddhist Sunday School, especially at the Avalokitesvara Buddhist Temple, there are some students who are less disciplined, less polite in participating in learning and lack of devotion to parents such as often violating parental orders, disrespecting parents, disobeying parents, bad attitude to parents, lack of respect for parents, often ignore parental advice. This fact is the impact of children who do not follow the teachings of Buddha properly so that children are less devoted to their parents. The important point of this study is to see the effectiveness of the Buddhist Sunday School on the devotion of childrento parents at the Avalokitesvara Buddhist Vihara Medan. This quantitative research uses Field Research. The subject of the study was the Buddhist Sunday School at the Avalokitesvara Buddhist monastery in Medan which consisted of 58 students. The object used is a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The data were analyzed using a simple linear regression analysis approach. The results of the experiment and simple linear regression obtained a count of 7,277 with a significance level of 0.000. It can be estimated that the table (7.277>1.684) or sig <0.05 (0.000 0.05), then Ha is accepted, Ho is rejected. Compared to the R square value in this test, it is 57.6 which shows that the Buddhist Sunday School is effective for children's devotion to parents by 57.6% |
