| Abstract | 對河西早期石窟與炳靈寺第169窟、云岡石窟、麥積山第74、78窟關系的梳理表明，早期石窟在河西的傳播并不一定由西到東，還應存在跳躍或迂回現象。長安佛教可能對炳靈寺和云岡石窟都產生了很大影響，而且長安與河西早期石窟一樣可能也都有自己的獨特來源。長安佛教在北中國早期石窟史中的地位值得繼續仔細評估。
An investigation of the relationship between early Hexi grottoes and cave 169 of the Binglingsi Grottoes, the
Yungang Grottoes, and caves 74 and 78 of the Maijishan Grottoes indicates that cave construction in Hexi was not necessarily
following the dissemination route from west to east, and that cave construction also might have skipped some areas or detoured.
Buddhism in Chang’an might have had a great influence on both the Binglingsi Grottoes and Yungang Grottoes, and Chang’an,
just like early Hexi grottoes, might also have its own unique sources. The status of Buddhism in Chang’an in the history of early
cave temples in North China deserves to be carefully evaluated. |
