| Abstract | 江戸時代には多くの作仏聖が現われた。甲斐の木喰(木喰五行・明満仙人)もその一人である。真言僧である彼は生涯、木食戒に徹し、仏の智恵と慈悲を伝達するために全国隅なく歩いて作仏活動を続けた。八宗一見と阿字観を取りあげて、作仏をはじめとする多方面に亘る宗教活動の本義を窺ってみることにしたい。 |
