Abstract 《物不遷論》是僧肇的名篇之一,雖然歷來注疏和研究都很多,但它在論證和理論上都還值得進一步辨析。本文從《物不遷論》"不來不去"的論證以及"住"和"往"等理論概念入手,聯系歷代注疏,具體辨析其內涵。在"不來不去"的論證中,僧肇的論述在字面上存在邏輯的矛盾,這一矛盾可從修辭和句義兩個方面來消解。歷代注疏對此論證有不同的理解,惠達對"覆而求今,今亦不往"值得玩味,元康聯系動、靜兩方面來闡釋,遵式只強調"靜而非動",文才直接將"不來不去"歸于"性空"。在"住"與"往"論述中,可看出《惠達疏》與今本《物不遷論》的版本差異,《惠達疏》以"往"代"住"雖在文義上似與今本《物不遷論》直接矛盾,但若仔細辨析,尤其是區分"常"之"恒常"與"常情"二意,則亦可得到解釋,甚至《惠達疏》的理解或許比今本《物不遷論》的理解更為順暢。由此兩例,可知《物不遷論》文本內容的張力與詮釋的豐富性,也凸顯了《惠達疏》的重要性。
